October, 2021 Bob Lustig- October, 2021
From Classmates:
Bob frequented a particular bar called Limelight. Tom (brother) and Christine (sister) went there and learned that everyone in the place knew and loved Bob. Tom said he was like Norm in Cheers and he even had his own seat. They called him "Bob-O".
I remember Bob as being a funny guy with a great but very dry sense of humor when we were in school. In fact, I recalled that he was the only member of our class who signed my yearbook with a poem.
He was a fun guy. We will all be remembered one day but would have liked to have seen him before this tragedy. God Bless u all
Great guy with some wonderful escapades and stories involving him, Joe W, and Jim D.
I miss him, and his graphic stories.
Bob always was a crazy fun loving carefree individual My fondest memory of Bob was the mid 60’s. He asked me to help pick up equipment and do laundry after Bill’s practices. A ton of fun times and we were getting paid for this. Love ya’ Bob, God bless you and thanks for the memories.
He was a great guy! I have my best memories about him. My deepest condolences to all his friends and family.
Oh the stories I could tell but won’t, only a few words: Lustig Deerhurst parties, Bills games in the stadium suite, Montreal World's Fair, Bob and the Peace Bridge, drinking, cigarettes, ashtrays, pizza boxes, Lucille's, Elmwood Ave., hunting trips, getting lost with Bob at the compass, fishing trips, road trips, Shanor Electric, Sherkston, Crystal Beach, Orange Duster w/no oil changes ever, Pilgrim, his many stories, drinks, jokes, sick humor, and laughs.
Generally speaking, Bob had more s$%t than a barn full of pigeons! All these words have and will put a smile on my face and some others forever because of Robert P. Lustig.
Though we all got older and moved apart, Bob did life his way. He was a very funny, giving person and I hope he is now marching with the Saints!
RIP Bob!!
