From Classmates:

Mike was a dear friend. Always giving to all who encountered him. Loved him like a brother. Saw him just last week. Will miss him dearly.

His friendliness, kindness, vibrant energy and generosity made a huge impression on me. RIP Mike!!

I cannot believe he has passed as I frankly thought Mike with all his energy would never pass. I was in grammar school with him as well as on  little league baseball teams with him. He was an extraordinary natural athlete who seemed to excel with little effort.  In his adult life and profession the same was true.  He was funny as well. May he rest in peace.

I really got to know Mike better over the past 15 years than I did when we were in school.  He was a great guy who would do anything to help a friend, especially his classmates. Let's keep Mike and his family in our thoughts and prayers.  Rest in Peace, Mike!

It is terrible to hear about the passing of Mike. He was a very nice guy, and he is gone too soon. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. My thoughts and prayers with all who knew him. God bless Mike's soul! RIP.

Like everyone else who knew you and spent time around you, no matter how long, or how long ago, I shall always remember you fondly. Rest in Peace, Mike.

I regret not knowing Mike more than casually.  He was clearly kind and thoughtful. He will be missed.

A real character and good man.
Mike’s generosity was always front and center.   I also experienced Mike’s kindness and concern. So sad to lose another great SJCI guy. God bless Mike.

A loosely goosey guy that never seemed to have a problem with anything or anyone. Sad day for sure.

Great person and he will be missed but not forgotten.

He surely set an example of what all of us strive for in life on many levels. I still remember the fabulous Birthday Bash he threw at his office/ building showing all of us a great time, bringing us all together, and reminding us of the real Mike Calabrese. RIP Mike!

I remember him as a good guy who was nice to me whenever we interacted. That’s what I will recall about him because that’s what matters.
Warmhearted, generous, gregarious and athletic guy who was always greeted you with a genuine smile and maybe a slight look of mischief recently accomplished. He is one of the reasons the Class of '67 is unique and great.  He will be missed by us all.  Rest in peace Mike and save a spot on the roster for the rest of us.

Mike was always a happy go lucky individual, greeting one and all with a smile. He was nice to all he met. God Speed Mike.
Eternal rest Grant my deceased classmate.   The news has had me thinking of Mike all day ... and all of you as well. Squeeze every drop of life out of each day. RIP  Breeze

So sad to hear. RIP Mike. Prayers for all his family.

Mike’s generosity, kindness and concern was only exceeded by his big heart. Anyone who ever met or contacted him will testify to this fact. As a close friend, I have been very blessed over the years being able to share the joys, the challenges, the experiences of traveling our life’s roads together. I can assure you all it was one fun ride. Mike extolled great love for his family especially Phyllis his girlfriend and faithful confidant.
Today marks another milestone  in the legacy of our SJCI class.  As Mike did with positivity, a warm heart and a beautiful spirit, he changed the lives of others around him. Not a bad example for all of us to follow.  May God have mercy on his soul …… Rest In Peace my friend!

RIP Breeze!!
