From Classmates:

My wife and I sat at the same table with Jack and Debbie and the Monte’s at our 50th reunion. He never stopped smiling that night, you could really feel how much he enjoyed being with his many classmates that evening. We will all miss him.

Jack was always so happy and cheerful, it won't be the same without him.

Great sadness that we have lost another wonderful classmate.   Jack had a big heart, ready smile and always made you feel good.

I always enjoyed his company.

  Stand up guy.

A great guy and a friend to all.

A guy you had to like. He'll be missed.

I've known Jack for years, he always a good guy and one of SJCI's greatest promoters.

Good memories, good times.  A spirit we will miss.

Jack has been a friend since freshman year. God rest his soul.

Sooo sad. Jack was a great guy!
Great classmate both at Joe's and Canisius College.  I will miss his engaging smile!

One of the very, very good guys!
Jack was a gentleman, I was new to the area but he helped me navigate the ropes!

Jack may have been the soul of our class.  RIP my friend!
Jack was a really good guy. Always engaged with everyone and when he put his arm around you, you knew he sincerely meant it.   Jack lived across the street for almost my entire childhood. We went to St. Rose of Lima, St. Joe's, and Canisius together. We were part of the Winston Road "street" gang. Jack I can't believe you are gone. Say hello to your great parents and brother Joe.

I've known Jack since we were kids from the neighborhood. Only a few of us knew him as "Fizz" but I did. He was a stand up guy who was a true friend to us all. Good husband and father. He loved a good joke and loved to laugh about old times. A great Joe's advocate. I am glad that we all had our time with Jack, though short as it was. I can only hope he puts in a good word for the rest of us. Rest in peace old friend.

This hits hard.  Such a good man and great classmate.  It's been said that good friends are like stars, you don't always see them but you know they are there.  Not unlike the rest of our class, Jack was and is like one of those stars.  Rest in peace my friend and save a place for the rest of us .

I too knew Jack from elementary school. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met.  Always positive and cheerful.

He had that smile that could light up a room. You will be missed.
Jack was a great classmate we will all miss . May he rest in peace.

I found him enthusiastic and passionate about St. Joe's and about the men he attended school with.

Jack was always so happy and cheerful, it won't be the same without him.
Vai con Dio fratello mio.

RIP Jack!!
