John "Buzzy" Buscaglia (Oct. 12, 1949 – Jan. 23, 2016)


	1949 – July, 2016 John "Buzzy" Buscaglia, of Grand Island, loving father of Patricia (Dennis) Hooper, Jeannette (Derek Malis) and Georgia C. Buscaglia; cherished son of the late John C. and Georgia B. Buscaglia; dear brother of Louise (Alvin) Klenk, Georgia (Raymond) Owczarzak, Carol Lynn, James (Syndi) and Jeanne Buscaglia; husband of Patricia (Giarrano) Buscaglia..
	From Classmates:
	He was always one of those guys you liked to be around.	Sounds a bit corny, but I will always remember his smiling face. Love to hear the story of his pet owl and snake!
	May you RIP Buzz. Knew him also at a very young age when worked at his dads IGA in Town of Tonawanda. Always carried my mom's case of beer to the car.	I remember Buzz from all the way back to St. John's.
	From Tom Metzen's Eulogy: In closing I want to read an e-mail I received yesterday from Sister Rene Ruberto who taught Buzzy in grammar school at St Johns. She Said “ I loved Buzzy. I looked him up 13 years ago and invited him to my 50th anniversary as a sister. He came to the celebration in Lockport with his daughters. He had a heart of gold!!" I used to always think the same thing, oh he could be rough and gruff and always a straight shooter but had that beautiful heart, A Heart of Gold. I have heard the same thing from many others in the last few days. It really is the best compliment a person could receive. So in closing lets raise up our hearts to Buzz that he may rest in peace!
